Normally in the market, have three kinds of hotel card lock system:

a. magnetic card lock system, card use way is : swipe card into card sensor area gap, (just as when we swipe bank card on POS machine). This magnetic nature is easy to lost as the time gones by.

b. IC card lock system, card use way is: insert card into card sensor area.  (Just like ever before, when we use IC card to dial telephone calls, only when card chip justly arrives the sensor area, then card is activated. Also out of date. As chip is on the appearance of card, and easy to lost.It is out of time in security lines.

c. RF card system, card use way is: swipe card to sensor area, around 0-30mm, the card can be induced.card has the function to keep record. latest 200pcs. combine with data collector, can see the door locks opening records. when, where, whom,use mechaniacal key or card, use which kind of card to open,etc. this system also can combine with access control system and elevator etc. It is popular trends in hotel lock security lines.

CHINA Hotel lock energy-saving switch catagories

In hotels, hotel lock energy-saving switch normally used with hotel lock together in order to save electricity.

Take T5557 hotel lock energy-saving switch for example. It includes 3 kinds.

1. Normal kind.

   For example,you can use 101 room card insert into any other room switch, power is on. After you take out, power off.

2. Special kind. 

   For example, for 101 room switch, it only can recognize 101 room card. If you insert 101 room card into 102 room switch, it cannot make 102 room power on. Surely, this kind, normally will be different in price. also before you use switch, you need to set up for these switch with our door lock system

3. OEM kind.

   Different countries, different power load, China is 220V. some countries are 110V. so different requirements.

RFID hotel lock system overview.

Nowadays, RFID Hotel Lock System is very popular in hotel lines security. It includes: Offline & Online System.

1. Offline RFID hotel lock System(without internet)   

     Choice A: T5557 system 

    T5557 RFID hotel lock system includes: hotel lock, card, card encoder, data collector, energy-saving switch and software.  With this system, use our card, can only recognize open door functions. To some extent, it can independently combine with access control system and elevator control. 

Choice B: Mifare1 system 

  Mifare1 RFID hotel lock system includes: mifare1 hotel lock, mifare1 card, mifare1 card encoder, mifare1 data card, mifare1 energy-saving switch and software. If the hotel has its own management software system, combine with our lock system, use our card, it can realie open door functions, parking, consuming in hotel restaurant, access control, etc, many functions. As in mifare1 card, there are 16 districts, and share more volume for functions. So the price of Mifare1 system will be a little higher than that of T5557 system.

  

2. Online RFID hotel lock System (with internet) 

Choice C: RS485 System 

Connects for 526pcs LOCKS at most on the basis of internet. Net not so fast.

Choice D: TCP/IP System

Without limitation for LOCKS, net speed fast, and also price higher than that of RS485. 

According to each hotel requirement and budget, you can select RFID hotel lock system that most appropriate for you.
